South Aussie success

Adelaide Shores congratulates South Australian junior Thanasi Kokkinakis, a member of the West Beach Tennis Centre last summer, who won the under 14 Windmill Cup in Leeuwarden, Netherlands on 21 July 2010.

The final saw Thanasi drop the first set 4-6 to No.10 seed Geon-Ju Shin (KOR) but recover to win the next two sets 6-1 6-4.

The win aided his preparation for the ITF World Junior Team Competition Finals currently underway in the Czech Republic. Good luck to the Australian team there!

Thanasi is from Seacombe Heights and hopefully he will be back playing at the West Beach Tennis Centre again this summer.
