Public Events
Adelaide Shores' location on 135 hectares of land reserved for tourism and recreation in the central metropolitan suburb of West Beach makes it an ideal venue for sporting events or other large public events.
Barratt Reserve, which borders West Beach Road and Military Road, is available for hire for regular sporting competitions or one-off events. For information on availability and costs, please email events@adelaideshores.com.au.
Adelaide Shores also offers accommodation and catering services so that all of your event needs are met. The location is convenient both for Adelaide residents, and for interstate or international visitors, due to its proximity to Adelaide airport.

Clean Up Australia Day
Adelaide Shores is hosting a Clean Up site at Barratt Reserve Creek from 10am to 1pm on Sunday 7 March. Volunteers will be meeting at 10am at the Softball SA Centre off West Beach Road and going to the Clean Up site from there. A FREE sausage sizzle will be provided to all volunteers.

Learn to Sail
18 January 2010 - 14 March 2010
The Adelaide Sailing Club is running Learn to Sail programs for adults and youth from 18 January until 14 March 2010. Participants will learn to safely sail a boat around a small course and receive a certificate of achievement on completion.

Special Olympics 2010 National Games
Adelaide is hosting the Special Olympics 2010 National Games and Adelaide Shores is proud to support this inspiring community event. Adelaide Shores will become the 'Games Village' hosting a large number of the athletes across its two accommodation properties. In addition, four Special Olympics events - Golf, Softball, Sailing and Soccer - will be held within the Adelaide Shores recreation reserve.
Australian Ultimate Championships
Adelaide Shores will host the 2010 Australian Ultimate Championships which attracts frisbee teams from all over Australia. This event, showcasing a relatively new sport, is an exciting addition to Adelaide Shores' calendar of events.
